At about the 46 minute mark of Ellen's recent CBC.ca Q , Ellen Page Uncut interview:http://www.cbc.ca/q/blog/2010/08/11/ellen-page-uncut/
she mentioned that she will be at TIFF with Super this year. :veryexited:

Ultimately, a TIFF without an Ellen Page movie isn't a real TIFF, is it? So looks like I will be busy in September :sweating2:

It'd be nice for some sort of early showing to come around here (hell I do live kinda close to Hollywood), I'd drop some major cash to see an early showing of Super, especially if the whole cast including Ellen was there :D .

Toronto's only about a half-hour drive from where I live.
Now that I know that Ellen Page is going to be there, I might buy a ticket.

Might? Dude if I were 30 minutes away from the location and could see the world premiere of Super with Ellen there, there'd be no "might" about it :sassy: .

I mean, that week's busy for me. Hence the "might".
And I've never been to TIFF before, and since it's a big event, I might get lost or something and never get to see Super.
I'll probably buy an advance ticket and see how things play out. Image

Well I hope you get to go, I've had a couple of missed chances to see Ellen myself (some friends went to Comic Con but I was busy, Inception was filmed in my friend's dad's office and I could probably have met them if I'd known), hope you get to go, I'd kill to see the premiere of Super.

I would literally rip the heart from somebody's chest to go. But alas, I am 15, and September means school. Plus it's REALLY expensive to jet off to Toronto from Britain AND I would have to get one of my parents to go with me. DAMM YOU TIFF!
In the country dead bodies live in swamps and ditches and shallow graves. A man dumps the body of a girl in a ditch. The body rotts melts into slime. Flowers pop up where the body lies, seeds fly out of the flowers and a bee sucks the flowers and makes honey. Then the family of the girl buys the honey from the store. And the family eats the girl.

Yeah, school ruins everything :sassy:. I'd kill to go too, but maybe I'll just wait for it to show over here in LA. It's gotta have an early showing that'll be kind of a big deal nearby, I'll pay my way in there.

Great news that Super will be at TIFF

If I was 30 mins away from Toronto....I play hooky from work, school, life...to check out Super

TIFF is supposedly one of the best of the major film festivals....it allows the general public to view the films (if they can get a ticket)....some of the larger ones are really exclusive.

Bummer that my job is real busy in September....hard to get time off with all the kids back at the college where I work

OMMMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How fitting that Super be premiering at Toronto, where several Ellen Page movies have become legends. I so want to go, but I'll be in Seattle around that time...

I'm sure he will, Ellen all but confirmed it so why wouldn't he?

I wanna know where the first showing in the US will be, hopefully close to me. I'd kill to go to an early showing, whether or not the cast and all attend.

I checked the TIFF site yesterday and did not see Super on there. Hope it will be shown there. Whip It did not appear on the TIFF website schedule last year until near the start of the festival...if I remeber right

Yeah it's probably supposed to be a secret until tomorrow... whoops, Ellen let it slip  .

Of course there's always the tiny off chance that they are gonna promote it there or something and show it somewhere else, but that'd be a little unorthodox.
