Sorry, its me again Dominik... Something that you fixed on the old board has appeared on the new one. When you click on the latest post link for a thread it goes to the first page of the thread instead of the most recent page. If you could correct that here too it would be great.

You're a quick one Mr. Keppner

Can we make a list of a few of the smilies that have strange and different names that get used frequently and have you fix them? There is probably about a dozen that everybody is used to being something else... It wouldn't be so bad if the new names weren't so much longer...

Put the list in this topic, please

There are only a few really. There are others, but I think they will be easy enough to get used to.

:winking: used to be
:-/ used to be :whatever: which is faster to type, though the new coding for that is probably more representative of what it is.
 was
:staring: was simply :stare:
and :ohnono: was simply

You've already fixed a couple of the others, and added many of the smilies we always wished for, so thanks for all your work in that department.

Damn, you're fixing them while I type! :panic:

I made some changes at the "View topic layout". I putted the online status symbol under the avatar and centered all items (Title, Rank level, avatar and online status). Looks good, doesn't it? :)

Everything looking good over here.

Just a small request, the signature box is limited to 255 characters. My old signature was longer than that, but very short (in height).
-"The things you do wrong, they haunt you." "Nah, I mean I'm already pregnant, so what other shenanigans could I get into?"
-"When is it acceptable to use our power and when do we cross that invisible line that turns us into tyrants over our fellow man?" "Silencio, old man!"

Well, you shouldn't write a "novel" in your signature. But I set the maximum signature length to 350 characters now and I hope that helps :purpleconfused:

Hi Dom. Does the page have a timeout period where if you don't complete any actions on the board it will automatically log you off? I just noticed that I had left the site open and had gotten busy, so I was away from it for 30 - 45 minutes, then when I came back and hit refresh it made me login again.

Has that happened to anyone else that you know of?

Yep, I have to login everyday. B Dan worked it out that I have to take something off my settings (cookies) or something that I didn't have to previously do and I think it worked for Robin, but I haven't done it so I'm unsure...

I don't really care, doesn't take long however if you're posting a response and it logs you off before you've finished would be a pain in the butt

I am using FireFox V2 at home and FireFox V3 at office and don't have any login problems at all, so it very well could be a browser based issue. Which one are you using?

If this ever happens here, I can add another modification that stores all data during your session in a special cache so you won't lost your post even if you got logged out during writing. :)

 Does that include PM's aswell? I know there are a few of us that have lost large PMs (usually our own fault) so that would be AWESOME! Very cool, thanks Dom.

I'm using IE. I have a work laptop and it doesn't usually let me download anything without Admin rights :rolleye: And I can't take it to work to get them to fix it cos... well, they don't know I have it and it has been written off as 'lost' :missspeak: :stare:

:veryexited: Downloaded and using it now  It's so much better and quicker! Thanks Dom! :totalhappy:
